Uki is of a gentle nature which has reflected upon our kids, especially our daughter who is special needs. He knows exactly how to deal with her - their relationship is like brother and sister. He has also volunteered at the school on a few occasions to help out with activities etc. Even when Julie and I had the odd evening out or were late home from work he was always there "no worries he says" and vice versa when Uki wanted time out or to go away for a long weekend with friends it was no problem. We believe in a bit of give and take and it works well.
Uki also helped us with the recruitment of our next Au Pair, not only helping us with the interviewing process but also reassuring any candidates of what to expect and answering any questions they had. Uki will be leaving us shortly and he will be greatly missed but he also knows that he is always welcome in our home.
