Emelie Landenberg, Auckland

Dear Cecilia,
We would like to nominate our fabulous Au Pair, Emelie, for your next Au pair of the month. Emelie has been with our family since January and in that time she has proven herself to be a kind, trustworthy and enthusiastic addition to our household and family. Our 3 boys aged 2, 4 and 7 (yes, quite a handful) absolutely adore Emelie. She’s firm with them when it’s necessary but has a wonderful balance of understanding and tenderness that she also shows to them day in and day out.

She’s a bundle of energy (as long as you get her past 9am on a weekday or after noon on a weekend!) and her uplifting nature is infectious and completely endearing. In the few times that there has been a need to correct or discuss any problems/negative issues with regards to job performance with Emelie, she has always taken any criticism constructively and handled such discussions with maturity beyond her years. No sulking or mooching! She has great confidence in her own abilities, is well organized and great at judging situations both within the family and between the children and their friends.

All in all, Emelie is an absolute delight and she deserves recognition from her peers for her stellar performance to date”.
