Frida Glans, South island

We would LOVE to nominate Frida for Au Pair of the month. Frida is nearing the end of her time with our family and it’s been a fantastic experience for all of us. 2009/2010 has been a super busy time for us, as we learn to adjust to new routines, welcoming a new baby (our 3rd), renovating a home with a Mum who is starting a new business and a Dad who commutes to Sydney. Frida has been flexible, more than capable and brought a quiet confidence to enhance our team.
Lets face it having someone stay in your home isn’t always easy. We have had the odd difficult time, but it’s the way Frida has handled each situation, and rising to each challenge is the biggest testament to her character. Our children LOVE her, we adore her and our extended family have embraced her as their own and this is because is loving, intelligent and fun.
Frida has chronicled her time with us through a series of wonderful photos, color and black and white. At Christmas she gave us an album, filled of images that captured our kids personalities perfectly – it’s these that we will treasure the most once she is gone and something our kids can treasure in years to come.
Thank you Frida, we wish you all the best, and we hope you keep in touch and one day we will visit you in your home and we can’t wait!
