Dear Au Pair Link,

I spent the past 10 months in New Plymouth and I want to thank you all. It's been such a great experience that I'll never forget.

I've been in such a lovely host family, met so many new people and definitely enjoyed my time in New Zealand. Leaving the country last week was harder than I expected and I miss everything and everyone already.

Having the opportunity to live in a family of another culture and to take care of their children was amazing. I will never forget all the fun times that we shared and I will never forget how happy the kids were and how they laughed all the time.

Especially I want to thank my programme manager, Donna Plasmeyer, who has been there for me and all her other Au Pairs all of the time. She was very supportive and I couldn't think of a better programm manager. All the outings she organised (child and Au Pair outings) were awesome and it was a pleasure to be a part of the Taranaki Au Pair team.

Whenever I had a problem I could text or ring her and she was there for me and we tried to solve even the smallest problem together.

When we had a little christmas party at her's I felt like home and it made me miss my home in Germany less.

Thank you for everything Donna! I miss you xxx

Being back in Germany makes me miss New Zealand so much and I hope I'll be able to come back soon!
