Au Pair Private Support

2017_Au Pair Private Support

Are you an au pair or nanny and think you and your host family would benefit from some extra support?  While we always recommend using an accredited agency to find your host family, we understand that sometimes the perfect match simply makes itself!  If this is the case for you and your host family, we'd love to support you throughout your placement.  Our Au Pair Private Support programme means you can gain experience in home based Early Childhood Education, while also nurturing bright young minds.  We can offer you quality educational support from one of our Family & Programme Managers (all qualified ECE teachers), as well as access to our local playgroups, activities and events, where you can meet fellow Au Pair Link au pairs in your local area from all over the world! Your family will also be able to claim their 20 Hours ECE and WINZ subsidises!

What's involved?

Simply get your host family to enrol the children into our programme.  We'll filter the information from their online profile into our Child Enrolment Form.  To do this, simply login and complete the first section of the application (Initial Application), as well as the Children's Details section.  From there, we'll need you to print and sign your Child Enrolment Forms and send them back to us. You can find these pre-filled forms in your Supporting Documents section of your family profile.

By signing up to our Ministry of Education licenced support programme, we'll also need to book in a quick meeting in your home. The purpose of this meeting is to give you the opportunity to meet someone locally from Au Pair Link, and to ensure the suitability of the au pair's room/lodgings.  We will also conduct a Health & Safety check during this meeting. The Introduction and Assessment Meeting will take approximately 45 minutes and is a requirement for all host families.

Once we have got the paperwork sorted out for your family, we will get in touch with the au pair and then get your family and au pair matched up on the back end of our system!
