Our Education Programme

Working as an Au
Pair 123, Whiz or Assist, we'll provide you with an
exciting and interactive early learning programme - allowing you to
inspire your host family's children to discover their place in the
world through experiences which become a Learning
Story. As part of the Au Pair Link family, you'll have
access to:
Child Portfolios and Communication Books
Child Portfolios and Communication Books are the perfect way to
keep your host family up to date with your children's progress, as
well as record anything that might happen during the day. By
writing Learning Stories (filled with pictures and mementos),
you'll create a unique story which will be treasured by your host
family and their children for years to come!
Weekly playgroups
We run weekly playgroups in all locations, giving you the chance
to meet with your Family & Programme Manager and other au pairs
to share experiences and feel supported while you are here.
Regular home visits
Each month your Family & Programme Manager (a qualified ECE
teacher) visits you in your host family home to provide you with
advice, educational resources and chat with you about how things
are going with the children.
Au Pair & Child Outings
Experience life in your local community as part of our monthly
au pair & child outings! Whether it's a visit to the zoo,
a local beach or the fire station - you'll enjoy the company of
other au pairs while creating some special learning memories with
your children.
Professional learning
We organise bi-monthly training sessions for au pairs, so you
can stay at the forefront of the childcare industry while working
on our programme. These sessions are a fantastic opportunity
for you to learn more about childcare, nutrition, positive
behaviour guidance and much more!
Educational resources
We also provide you with our free educational resource kits to
assist your child's learning and understanding of the world around
them. Our resource kits include books, music and toys with an
educational flair - based around children's interests (e.g. art,
music, dinosaurs, the alphabet). These are a great way to add
value to your host family children's learning experience!
