Hi. We are a British family with one 3.5yr old and emigrated to NZ 2 year ago and love it. Living in the loveliest suburb in Auckland, village feel and short walk into town with ease of access to city by ferry. We close to the some of Aucklands most beautiful beaches and lots of parks and open space. Lovely home with separate and beautifully furnished downstairs living area with large double room, separate bathroom and lounge for privacy. Husband currently working in Sydney and only visits alternate weekends, so mostly it's just Mum & little boy. Keen to have someone join the family in December and who would like to plan weekends away to explore the country together. Be lovely to have a companion for the trips too and as I work for Air NZ there may be scope to take a couple of flights. Currently our boy is in full time nursery in the city but plan is to move him to a local nursery - 2 streets away from 08:30-2:30pm and primary responsibility will be take him and collect him, entertain him or take him out for the afternoon and give him tea, supervising him until I get home at 6pm. Initially he may still be full time in a city nursery 3 or 4 days a week and full day at home. Subject to a space coming free but fairly flexible about preferences. Ocassional babysitting also. I am easy going and socialable. We are outdoor and active and enjoy sport. Ben is a bundle of energy, so you need to be fit to keep up with him. He's a very bright and funny little boy, quite cheeky and entertaining. He's actually good company and a good friend of mine with kids similiar ages and get along well have a German nanny starting shortly. May be good company and potential to meet up in evenings and weekends away or playdate with kids during the week. Thanks for reading this and good luck.....
