Programme requirements
- Be between 18 – 29 years old
- Willing to commit to placement term of 3, 6 or 12 months as an Au Pair
- Have experience working with children.
Visa information
- Business (F) Visa (validity: 6 months) – apply online at www.chinaembassy.org.nz
- For longer stays, our partner will assist you to either extend your F visa up to 12 months, or transfer the F visa type into X (study visa), which also allows you to stay up to 12 months
List of Required documents:
- Completed and signed visa application form
- One recent passport sized colour photograph
- Original passport with 2 blank visa pages and valid for over 6 months
- Invitation letter from a sponsor company in China (our partner agency), or Visa Notification Letter issued by an authorised government department in China, such as local Foreign Affairs Department.
Application processing time:
- Normal service takes 4 working days - 6-8 working days if the application was couriered to the embassy
- Visa application fee: $140.00 NZD.
