Do I Qualify?
To qualify for our Au Pair programmes you need to:
- Be between 18 – 30 years old
- Have a clean police record
- Have a valid drivers license

Meet New Zealand visa requirements (Working Holiday Visa or Student Visa)
- Have minimum experience of 100 hours caring for children (no minimum experience is required for our Au Pair Assist programme).
You will be required to provide us with the following documentation as part of your full application to become an Au Pair in New Zealand:
- Complete our online application form
- A personal letter
- Pictures/photos
- A copy of your passport
- A copy of you current drivers license
- A copy of your school leaving certificate
- A medical examination/clearance
- A copy of your police record
- A minimum of 2 childcare references.
Finally, you will undergo an interview process conducted by us or one of our local partner agencies. This interview process includes:
- An interview in person or via the telephone
- A personality test and English test.
Please note that all tests will be conducted in English to ascertain your English speaking ability.
