- Are a safe and credible agency. Au Pair Link is a New Zealand Ministry of Education licensed Early Childhood Education provider (i.e. we are government approved) and was the first member of the International Au Pair Association in Australasia. We interview all Host Families personally and conduct house visits and assessments – to make sure you will be in a safe and loving environment. We also provide you and your Host Family with a contract to help protect your rights. Lastly, we provide a re-match service free of charge. So if things don’t work out, you will be placed in accommodation until we find a new Host Family for you here in New Zealand.
- Make it simple and easy for you. Au Pair Link and our travel agency partner Orbit Corporate Travel will help you organise your flights, applicable visa and insurance for your year in New Zealand. We even provide a 3 day orientation course in Auckland. Our orientation programme includes 2 nights hotel accommodation and all meals – which will allow you to acclimatise and recover from the international flight before joining your Host Family. You will also be provided with a welcome pack giving you all the information you will need to help make your year in New Zealand an ongoing success.
- Ongoing support and learning opportunities. Au Pair Link has a nationwide network of support staff and current Au Pairs. We provide you with an orientation programme (including childcare lessons, CPR course and an introduction to New Zealand), monthly activities and playgroups as well as ongoing support from a professional teacher. We also can provide learning opportunities for professional development in childcare and English lessons.
- Have educational and fun learning programmes. We provide you with a Ministry of Education approved Early Childhood Education curriculum to help guide you and give you fun activities and ideas to implement with your Host Family’s children (who are under 5 years old) – aiding their learning, growth and development.
- We are free! Unlike some other Au Pair agencies we do not charge an agency fee or take a percentage of your weekly wage.
