Au Pair Assist Programme
Au Pair Assist is a short term mother’s help or Demi Au Pair programme designed for Au Pairs who care for children from 0 to 5 years of age. Au Pair Assist placements can be made quickly (often within 1 week) as the candidates are typically already in New Zealand. With our Au Pair Assist programme you can quickly access affordable, short term childcare and domestic assistance - giving you an extra pair of hands around the home. The Au Pair Assist programme is specifically designed for families who require in-home support and assistance following child birth or childcare in a "mother's help" capacity. An Au Pair Assist will work up to 45 hours per week, sometimes in a sole charge position, for up to $200 net pay per week (excluding PAYE tax). The Placement Term is for a maximum of 3 months.
Host Families enrolled in our Au Pair Assist programme will have full access to our Early Childhood Education curriculum as well as receive support and assistance through Au Pair Link’s qualified Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers. Children who are 3, 4 and 5 years old are eligible for the ‘20 Hours ECE’ government subsidy when enrolled in our Au Pair Assist programme.
Please note: Au Pair Assist supply is limited. Please apply online early to avoid disappointment.
