The time in my family (not using the term host family purposely) is almost over... I only have one month and a few days left until I go back to Germany and unfortunately leave my second home, which was not an easy decision to make. Back when I decided to visit New Zealand I thought… Well, you will live with this family and work there, it should be fine. But my expectations really were exceeded. This family is perfect for me; I am not feeling like it is my work to be here. Of course, it can be hard with three kids but the love I receive is incredible to me. I've never had a bad feeling being in New Zealand and so far away from home. Sure, sometimes it was difficult to deal with but Robin and Paul were so good to me and supported me to travel a lot and I saw that I am rich in opportunities. We have experienced so many wonderful moments at the beach, concerts, on their boat and also with our exchange student Jessie. Together, we are kind of a big, busy, interracial and all over diverse family... We always need two cars to get somewhere but so what, it's fun! This family is very open minded and lovely to every person they meet. I´m so glad to be their Au Pair, I cannot imagine having it any better. Robin and Paul are really good parents, with the sweetest kids, good friends and I love to be a part of it.

Thank you for giving me this chance! And thank you for the amazing time that I had. I will enjoy this last month to the fullest and definitely come back for a visit.
