Fantastic new opportunities for Au Pairs arriving in New Zealand!
Wednesday, 4 January 2012
We are excited to announce two new features of our New Zealand Au Pair Programme. In partnership with Westpac Bank and the ‘2 Degrees’ mobile phone network, we are now offering all inbound Au Pairs assistance in setting up a New Zealand bank account, and a ‘2 Degrees’ SIM card – meaning they will have an active New Zealand cell phone number upon their arrival to Orientation!
We are confident that these new features will help us to achieve even further levels of support for Au Pairs in New Zealand. As we all know, arriving in a new country can often be a stressful process – but with a secure bank account and cell phone number already prepared, some of this stress can be alleviated. Au Pairs can focus on enjoying their first few days with their new Host Families, and learning their way around a new place!
Au Pairs will be given the option to take a SIM card at Orientation, and will be contacted individually regarding whether they would like our assistance in setting up their Westpac account. We have had some great feedback on these new services already, so a big thank you goes to Westpac and 2 Degrees for their support. As our Au Pair network continues to grow, it is great to be able to provide greater support opportunities during their stay - right from the moment they touch down!
