Our Story

Au Pair Link was founded by a former au pair who was inspired to launch a reputable au pair agency in New Zealand after a life changing experience in America. Shortly after, we became the first au pair agency to be licensed as a home based Early Childhood Education (ECE) provider by the New Zealand Ministry of Education - developing an innovative and inspiring educational programme for our au pairs to implement with their children under the guidance of qualified ECE teachers (our team of Programme Managers).  

In 2014, we joined the Evolve Education Group, heralding the start of a new chapter in our story.  

Over the years, we've grown to become the largest au pair agency in Australasia and one of the largest in the world.  In addition, we've achieved a number of industry firsts, including:

• First au pair agency in Australasia to become a member of the International Au Pair Association (IAPA)
• First au pair agency in New Zealand to offer an orientation course to our au pairs, including childcare training and a Child First Aid course
• In 2012 we founded the Home Early Learning Organisation (HELO) with other leading New Zealand home based Early Childhood Education providers. HELO is dedicated to giving families quality in-home early learning and care founded on relationships with love, trust and respect.

Au Pair Link has strong and proven international partner relationships.  With access to some of the industry's largest and most trusted suppliers, our au pairs journey from across the world to live and experience life in New Zealand caring for our Kiwi children.
