Sophia (Germany, 18 years old)

Gender - Female
Experience - 1312 hours
Start Date - 13/08/2018
Programme - Au Pair 123
Term - 6 months

My name is Sophia. In my free time I do a lot of sports e.g. skiing, mountain biking, riding a horse, hiking, jogging, swimming, ice skating, water-skiing. In addition, I love the nature and animals. I’ve a little dog called Wiggerl and together with my grandmother I spent a lot of time gardening. Like my whole family I love traveling. I’ve seen many parts of Europe. But I also love spending time with my friends. Right at the moment I do my A-Levels. But at the weekends I’m working as a ski instructor for children. But that’s not my only experience with children. There are also my two internships at the kindergarten and children’s ward at the hospital. Furthermore I’ve got a little brother so I know how to look for children, cook, and help with homework. In summer holidays I’ve lived in a Maltese host family and homesickness wasn’t a problem. Now I want to discover New Zealand - I'm looking forward to get your family and your kids!

Hey, my name is Hanna from Germany. I'm now 18 years old, but when I will arrive I will be 19 years old. I want to be an Au pair in New Zealand because I love to work with children and want to explore the world. I like to get creative with the kids and play with them inside and also outside. Since 2013 I worked with children at church and in our sports club and I love it. Sometimes I think I can work better with kids than with adults. I am already looking forward to meet you.

Larissa (Germany, 17 years old)

Start Date - 27/08/2018
Programme - Au Pair 123,Au Pair Mate
Term - 12 months

Hello I'm Larissa and together with my family I live in Berlin, the capital of Germany. In my summer and winter holidays, which I usually spent in Austria I took care of children, who spent their holidays there too. While playing and having fun with them I noticed that I really love children and that I want to spent as much time as possible with them. Together we discovered the nature, the environment and had a lot of fun by playing or just spending the time outside. Furthermore I worked as Teamer in my church community, where I confirmed my feelings to become an Au Pair and maybe also to work with children in my future. Together we worked on projects and went on weekendtrips around Germany. As I really love travelling around the world and get to know new cultures including customs and traditions I am really excited to become an Au Pair in New Zealand. I'm looking forward to meet you!!!

I was also in a kindergarten and I gained new experiences with several children between three and six years. Since September 2016, I give a 14 year old boy once a week tutoring and at school, I also tutored several children when I was 17 years old.

Tobias (Germany, 18 years old)

Gender - Male
Experience - 383 hours
Start Date - 15/08/2018
Programme - Au Pair 123
Term - 12 months

Hello My name is Tobias, I am 18 years old and live in Germany. I live in my family together with three siblings (one older sister and two younger brothers). My hobbies are playing soccer, tennis and floorball (similar to hockey). Furthermore I play the trombone in our school orchestra and like meeting friends to relax at the weekend. As a coach of a soccer team I cared for children from sven to 12 years which is a lot of fun to see how they develop. But in my internship in a kindergarden I could see how it is to work with even younger kids. These two weeks of internship were very short, so I want to be an Au Pair and take care for younger children for a longer time. I want to participate in the Au Pair programm in New-Zealand because I am interested in new cultures and ways of life. But I also want to improve my English.
